About the Author
Mai Saleh Zaitoun, is a Palestinain author and mother of two. She considers motherhood to be one of her most important goals, and she is passionate about raising Arab children who are proud of their heritage and language. Sounds of Eid is her fourth book.
About the Illustrator
Duc Nguyen is a Vietnamese artist currently living in a major city in Vietnam with her parents, younger sister, and dog. Although she resides in a bustling city filled with towering buildings and bright lights, her deep love for nature and animals makes her prefer life in the countryside.
Duc discovered her passion for art in her childhood when her aunt gifted her a set of colored pencils, which inspired her to develop her drawing skills. After graduating from university, she pursued her dream of joining a local magazine, where she is now working on advancing her artistic career.

عن الرسام/ة
دوك نجوين هي رسامة فيتنامية تعيش حاليًا في إحدى المدن الكبرى في فيتنام مع والديها وأختها الصغرى وكلبها. على الرغم من أنها تسكن في مدينة مزدحمة مليئة بالمباني الشاهقة والأضواء الساطعة، إلا أن حبها العميق للطبيعة والحيوانات يجعلها تفضل الحياة في الريف.
بدأت دوك شغفها بالفن منذ طفولتها، عندما أهدتها عمّتها علبة من أقلام الرصاص الملونة، مما ألهمها لتطوير مهاراتها في الرسم. بعد تخرجها من الجامعة، سعت لتحقيق حلمها بالانضمام إلى مجلة محلية، حيث تعمل الآن على تطوير مسيرتها الفنية.
